A&M Medcare Products

A&M Medcare Products was established in 1993 by a bright and young chemist, the late Aurelio G. Mabayag, "Iplin" to his friends and family. Back then A&M has a modest area of coverage and clientele. In 1997, after the untimely demise of Aurelio, ownership of the business went to his mother, Aurelia "Nena" while his brother, Carmelo "Ondit", who was then assisting running the business took over the management and operations. After Aurelia passed away in 2004, Carmelo took over and from there the business grew and reached new heights.

In 2002, A&M expanded its operations to Negros Oriental province after the opening of Dumaguete City branch. Operations in Panay Island also commenced with the establishment of Iloilo branch. This office's distribution area covers the provinces of Iloilo, Roxas, Aklan and Antique.

Today, A&M is the biggest distributor of branded and generic medicines in Bacolod City and Negros Occidetal.
